Chateau de Trévarez

Secondary residence of the president of Brittany's regional council, James de Kerjégu.
This château was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine in 1940, and served as a "rest base" for its submariners. On July 30, 1944, the Château de Trévarez was bombed by the Royal Air Force, causing extensive damage (some of which is still visible today) to the west wing living room and roof. Surrounded by a wooded park, this château is well worth a visit.
