François Le Clech

Here on March 20, 1944 was arrested by the guestapo, the Resistant François LE CLECH member of the Francs Tireurs Partisans (FTP) and deported to the Neuengamme camp.
Two forcibly conscripted into the Wehrmacht stationed at the Châteauneuf du Faou school, including Robert RITTER, decide to desert and join the maquis, in this endeavor they become close to François LE CLECH and Jean-Louis PERRENES. Denounced by a soldier, the four men are arrested, then interrogated at the Hôtel du Midi.
François LE CLECH is taken to Pontaniou prison, where he will be tortured and then deported to Neuengamme.
Private Robert RITTER is shipped to the Russian front.
As for Jean-Louis PERRENES, who is only 17, he is released for lack of evidence.
The three men, including François who survived the camp, were reunited in Chateauneuf-du-Faou in 1965
