Royal Museum of the Army and Military History

The Musée royal des Forces armées et d' histoire militaire ( often abbreviated MRA , Dutch: Musée van het Koninklijk Leger en de Krijgsgeschiedenis , KLM ) is a military museum occupying the two northernmost halls of the historic Cinquantenaire Park complex in Brussels , Belgium .

The collection originally consisted of a set of exhibits assembled by an officer, Louis Leconte. Around 900 pieces were assembled, and the collection was subsequently greatly enriched by bequests, gifts and exchanges.

Important developments include the opening of the armor section (1980), the relocation of the armor collection from the northernmost hall (1986) and the opening of the naval section (1996).
Today, it's possible to find uniforms, weapons, vehicles and military equipment from different eras and many countries.
