Departmental Museum of the Resistance

High place of memory of the Resistance, the site of Morette regroups the Musée départemental de la Résistance, the Mémorial départemental de la Déportation and the Nécropole nationale des Glières.

The Musée départemental de la Résistance was created by the Rescapés des Glières in a former mountain pasture chalet. It is dedicated to the history of Haute-Savoie during the World War II. Upstairs are exhibits more specific to the Maquis des Glières and the Liberation of the département.
