Crash John Perry Alcock

Stele in memory of Flight Officer John Perry Alcock, pilot of the Lysander type IIIA of the 161 Squadron of the Royal Air Force, and his passenger Lucien Germereau, Resistance fighter and leader of the "Scarlet" network in Châteauroux. The plane was shot down on August 4, 1944 by a mosquito mistaking it for a German Henschel HS126.
