On June 21, 1943, Jean Moulin, President of the Conseil National de la Resistance, took the "Ficelle Croix-Paquet" funicular.
He got off here and then boarded streetcar 33. It was his last ride as a free man.
He and his companions were arrested in Dr. Dugoujon's house in Caluire.
Let's remember Jean Moulin and all those who helped liberate France from Nazi horror.
