Jouet des flots mission Dahlia

The night of February 3, 1944 saw the start of Operation Dahlia, which involved the exfiltration to England of Allied airmen who had fallen on our soil, as well as naval officers such as Lieutenant Yves Le Hénaff, resistance fighters including Pierre Brossolette, Emile Laffont or Emile Bollaert . 32 passengers embark on the Jouet des Flots to join an English launch off Ouessant.
Alas technical breakdowns, deplorable weather and a leak will take their toll on the Jouet des Flots, which will nevertheless manage to run aground at Feuteun Aod.
The passengers scattered to avoid falling into enemy hands, but most of them were arrested and tortured by the gestapo, such as Pierre Brossolette, who committed suicide in Paris, or deported, such as  Yves Le Henaff, who died in the carriage taking him to Dachau.
