Saint-Eloy Cemetery

The small cemetery at Saint-Eloy is home to the grave of
★ Flight Sergeant Erik Flohr Jacobsen, a Danish national and volunteer member of the Royal Air Force, who joined the RAF in 1942. A Spitfire pilot, he lost his life on May 22, 1944 at the age of 26 during a mission to attack a train, his plane crashing without the reason being known near Kérivoal in Saint-Eloy.
