Gouesnou Cemetery

The Gouesnou cemetery is home to the graves of 6 aviators
Richard Keith Thompson pilot of Typhoon JP399 of the Royal Air Force's 266 Squadron, aged 20. Shot down at Kerlin by a German FW190 fighter on 03 August 1943.

As well as the crew of the Mitchell II FL216 of the 98 Squadron of the Royal Air Force departing from Foulsham in England hit by the FLAK from Saint-Thudon crashed at Lanfézic on June 24, 1943.

Flying Officer Joseph Philip TOEG, RAF, Pilot, 24 years old.
Flight Sergeant Tom ELLIS, RAF, Radio Operator, 34 years old
Sergeant Joseph GLOVER, RAF, Machine Gunner, 21 years old.
