Char Sherman Duguay-Trouhin

This Duguay-Trouhin tank belonged to the 2nd Cuirassé Regiment created in Oran in 1943. It was hit by German artillery fire during the fighting for the liberation of Dijon on September 6, 1944. Three crew members, tank commander 2nd lieutenant Cattaneo, brigadier chef Petitbon and cuirassier Delaporte, lost their lives.
