Construction of the Petit Cerisier hamlet
On August 23, 1944, in retaliation for an attack by Resistance fighters, which claimed the lives of some 50 Nazis, a section of SS invaded the hamlet Petit Cerisier, burned the farms and shot 4 people chosen at random, including:

☨Pierre Sergent, 24 years old, Resistance fighter
☨Guy Chemin, 25 years old, Resistance fighter
