Truschbaum Museum

The musée Truschbaum presents the history of the Elsenborn camp. The camp has a history of over a century. Numerous documents, equipment and weapons are on display here. A World War I trench is imitated, and numerous relics and dioramas present the Battle of the Bulge. It should be noted that this museum is located on military land and that the camp Elsenborn is still in use.

The museum has been temporarily closed due to heightened security measures following recent events.

But below this statement, you can read about it on the website (Dutch or French): Groups of more than 15 people can visit the museum if an appointment is made 2 weeks in advance. Reservations can be made by telephone on +32 80 44 21 05. The deputy camp commander assesses the request, depending on the number of staff available.
