In memory of the Gallants radio and radar technicians of the 2nd Tactical Air Force of the RAF, who landed on Omaha beach on D-Day to control and protect by radar the airspace around the American beachhead. Six of the technicians who were killed here on D-Day are buried in the Bayeux military cemetery.
