Dragon' monument

Monument in Place Jean Roger Sainteny, known as "Dragon". Demobilized in 1940, he joined the Resistance in the Cotentin region. Head of the Normandy sector for the Alliance Resistance network under the pseudonym "Dragon", he was captured by the Gestapo, then managed to escape and became one of the architects of the Normandy landings. He provided General Patton with the information he needed to capture Paris (source wikipedia).
