☨ Lucien Roustan born in Lambesc on November 24, 1913 arrested in his maquis then incarcerated in the Splendid hotel in Cavaillon shot dead there on July 14, 1944 at the age of 31. He will be decorated with the croix de guerre
☨ Abel Allemand also born in Lambesc on January 23, 1907, arrested on the 4 days before incarcerated in the Hotel du Splendid in Cavaillon shot dead there on July 14, 1944 at the age of 37.
