Roger Bothuan

A plaque affixed to the Guissény-Kerlouan intercommunal school pays tribute to Roger Bothuan, born August 14, 1910, schoolteacher, dismissed from the civil service joined the Resistance in August 1942.
Commanding the Guisseny FFI group he was arrested by the Gestapo on July 9, 1944 . Incarcerated at the prison of Pontaniou in Brest, tortured, he was fusilled on August 7, 1944.
