In this place, on the very site of the QU-60 strongpoint, 17 civilians were shot on May 15, 1944, including 7 members of the maquis de Pen-Ar-Pont .

On May 15, 1944, 15 men (resistance fighters from the groupe Vengeance, FTPF members of the Pen-ar-Pont maquis, as well as two Russian deserters from the Wehrmacht), were shot by the Germans in the Mousterlin state dunes.
