Kerviadec massacre

In this very place , on August 5, 1944 at lunchtime the farm workers listed below cross the national road and come across a German machine-gun. The latter and for no apparent reason opens fire and kills 6 innocent workers:

-Yves Le Moal, 65 years old, farmer .
-Jean Louis Guern, 55 years old, farm worker.
-François Martin, 49 years old.
-Yves Jamet, 46 years old.
-Jean- Marie Jamet, 15 years old.
-René Jamet, 14 years old.

Only René Le Moal, who had managed to hide, survived the massacre.
