Jean-Louis Berthélémé

Jean-Louis Berthélémé was one of the architects of the maquis de Saint-Goazec. During the Battle of France in 1940, he was taken prisoner and escaped 6 times.
Speaking English, he managed to organize the escape of 5 Americans from the US Air Force Army whose bomber was hit by Flak fire and forced to make an emergency landing at Kérampresse.
Denounced he was arrested on December 10, 1943 and deported to NordHausenwhere he died on March 4, 1945
