Bombardment Morlaix

On January 29, 1943 , 6 bombers from the Royal Air Force were tasked with destroying the Morlaix railroad line and viaduct. Alas, under German DCA fire, the bombs, for the most part, missed their target but fell on the center of the commune  claiming nearly 80 victims including 39 children from  the Notre-Dame de Lourdes school.
