Hamburg Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery

After the World War II, 1466 soldiers from Commonwealth nations, who were crews of the Air Force that had been shot down, as well as part of the occupying forces, were buried here.
Many years later, 378 more people from Commonwealth nations were buried here. In addition, 14 soldiers from other nations have their graves located here.
The German War Graves Commission (Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge) counts 1,889 Commonwealth soldiers from the Second World War buried here.
