QU87 support point
The German strongpoint codified QU87 consisted of two casematesof type 622 and a bunkerof type 608 still visible today.

Fifty or so people trapped in this blockhaus on August 4, 1944 and threatened with asphyxiation owed their salvation only to the initiative and courage of a 17-year-old Quimper local, Charlot JACOB, who slipped through a narrow loophole to a door he was able to open allowing air to flow in.
