Crash Focke Wulf 58 C

On March 30, 1943, a Focke Wulf 58 C took off from Lyon-Bron airfield with four German airmen on board. For some unknown reason, the Focke Wulf swooped down towards the lake to fly over it at very low altitude, but the plane hit the surface of the water, killing two people. Today, the Focke Wulf 58 C lies at a depth of 112 meters. (Illustration photo)
