Raymond Le Corre

Born on August 4, 1920 in Le Guilvinec, a fisherman, Raymond Le Corre joined the France Libre in July 1940, becoming a permanent agent in the Johnny network,il a mission as liaison officer between Brittany and England. His boat was boarded on April 19, 1941 off Plouha in Côtes-d'Armor, and he was deported to the Buchenwald concentration camp. Repatriated on release of the camp by American troops under Patton, he died in Davos-Dorf, Switzerland on October 8, 1946 as a result of his imprisonment at the age of 26.
