Memorial to the Penmarc'h shootings

On April 21, 1944, many members of the Resistance, most of whom were being held by the Germans in the Saint-Charles prison in Quimper, were shot on the Poulguen dune in Penmarch. The bodies were buried in a pit and exhumed on August 31, 1944.
