Monument la pointe de Bilfot Plouezec

Monument on the "Farenheit" operation, direction of combined operations. On this point on the night of November 11-12, 1942. A group of the "small scale raiding force" and the No. 12 British Commando under Major J.G Appleyard and transported by the Royal navy launch MTB 344 commanded by Lieutenant F. Bourne attacked on intelligence from the Resistance the semaphore station in order to remind the occupier of the free nations' fight against Nazism.

On the same monument there is a commemorative plaque in memory of Captain Benignus Stefan of the 313 squadron Czech RAF who fell on March 8, 1943
