From this quay, several dozen young men, including students from the école d'hydrographie de Paimpol, refusing to submit to the law of the invader, reached England
then the Free French Naval Forces on June 18, 1940 on the pilot boat Albert Farouk, on June 19, 1940 on the yacht Manou and the pilot boat Georges Leverdier , all three, ships of the French Fleet of Liberty.
