Gédéon Février, 21, was a Résistant member of the Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur who had opposed the Service de Travail Obligatoire by joining the maquis.
Wounded by the Germans during an operation, he was hunted down and caught by his executioners, who brutally murdered him here on June 12, 1944.
