François Seité

.François Seité, born February 12, 1923 in Locquirec, Finistère, killed November 17, 1944 in Belfort, was an officer in the Free French Forces during the World War II

Enlisted in the Free French at the age of 17, he distinguished himself particularly in the Italian Campaign, then during the Landing in Provence, and in the fighting that followed, for the Liberation. Killed in the Battle of Alsace while fighting to take Belfort, he was Compagnon de la Libération posthumously.
