Bunker du grand rocher Plestin-les-Grèves

An FTP maquis, named War Zao ("Stand up!"), developed in Plestin-les-Grèves, notably plasticizing two cafés frequented by German troops on May 1, 1944 in the town of Plestin-les-Grèves (in retaliation, the Germans bombed the Plestin-les-Grèves church). The Plestin-les-Grèves resistance memorial bears 35 names. A commemorative plaque on the Grand-Rocher blockhouse in Saint-Efflam bears the names of 7 resistance fighters born on Île-Grande who were victims of a shell explosion in the Grand Rocher blockhouse on October 23, 1944(Source:
