Here on June 12, 1944, Glasgow-born Flying Officer John Alexander Inglis died at the age of 23.
A Royal Air Force pilot, he was taking part in the Battle of Normandy aboard a Typhoon 1bMN 252.
Let us remember that he fell for our freedom.
