Plaque commemorating the 3rd Parachute Squadron Royal Engineers who destroyed several bridges over the Dives to secure the left flank of the Allied bridgehead.

Stele text:
On the morning of June 6, 1944, this bridge and the railway bridge downstream, were destroyed by the 2nd Section, 3rd Parachute Squadron of the British Royal Engineers, commanded by Captain T.R. Juckes, MC.RE, who died on June 28, 1944 of wounds caused by mortar shrapnel, near the Tuilerie de Mesnil de Bavent.
