On the evening of June 13, 1944, Mme Henry, a resident of Plestan, is on her way home. She has to cross the Boudan wood to reach her home. She is overtaken by a car and two German trucks, which stop at the edge of the wood.
She takes fright at the sight of the Germans. She is molested by their leader. The officer threatens her with death. She is chased away. She makes no bones about it and flees, skirting the woods. Along the way she hears screams and gunshots.
