The Commonwealth Military Cemetery of Saint-Charles-de-Percy is a military cemetery of the World War II, located in Saint-Charles-de-Percy, Calvados. It contains 809 graves, mainly of British soldiers. After the liberation of Caen at the end of July 1944, British troops advanced towards Vire in an offensive led from Caumont-l'Éventé, facing the German 7th Army and the Panzergruppe West. This was Operation Bluecoat. Saint-Charles-de-Percy Commonwealth Military Cemetery is home to 809 graves, including 2 Australians from the Royal Australian Air Force and 5 Canadians from the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Included are 66 men of the Irish Guards, 46 of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry, 44 of the Welsh Guards, 43 of the Coldstream Guards, 43 of the Royal Artillery, 42 of the Grenadier Guards, 26 Royal Engineers, 25 of the Reconnaissance Corps, among others among the most represented regiments.
