Canadian Cemetery

The Bény-sur-Mer Canadian Military Cemetery is a World War II Canadian military cemetery located in Reviers, in the Calvados department, northwest of Caen in Normandy. In this cemetery lie mainly Canadian soldiers killed during the first weeks of the Battle of Normandy in June and early July 1944. Most of the soldiers buried in the Bény-sur-Mer cemetery were killed in June and early July 1944 during the Battle of Caen and on D-Day at Juno Beach. Canadian POWs executed by the SS-Panzer Hitlerjugend at Ardenne Abbey are also buried in this cemetery. Source Wikipedia
