84 avenue Foch was the Paris headquarters of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD). It was used for the interrogation of Allied and Resistance SOA agents captured in France. It was here, on March 22, 1944, that resistance fighter Pierre Brossolette committed suicide by throwing himself out of the window of the sixth-floor terrace room to avoid talking.
