Cloister Chapel

The chapelle du Cloître housed during the combats that followed the disembarkation, led by the SAS, Maquisard and FFL to fix the Wehrmacht and prevent it from reaching the Normandy front,  a clandestine infirmary.
on July 24, 1944 the Germans attacked the chapel in force, the wounded and unarmed Resistance fighters tried to escape, 14 of whom were shot dead.
