Museum of Remembrance May 1940

For a long time the sacrifices of the French soldiers of 1940 remained unknown, stifled by the unconscious censorship of a France deeply wounded by a crushing defeat. Alongside veterans of the Great War, those who resisted the occupying forces and the Free French Forces, there was little room for those of 1940.
