Roger Bellon World War II Museum

The Musée de la 2e Guerre Mondiale Roger Bellon opened its doors in Conlie in April 2001. Mr. Roger Bellon, owner of the collection and creator of the museum, had already opened a first private museum in Saint-Aubin-de-Locquenay (Sarthe) in 1966, then in Lavardin (Sarthe) in 1971. Conlie, a small town of 1,800 inhabitants some twenty kilometers northwest of Le Mans, welcomed the museum in 2001. Today, the collection is preserved, enriched and showcased in almost 450 m2 of exhibition space. This museum, the only one of its kind in the region, opens its doors to you.
