Shoah Memorial

The Shoah Memorial is a place of remembrance of the genocide of the Jews of France. It brings together in one place : a museum dedicated to Jewish history during the Second World War, with a focus on teaching about the Shoah. The museum opened its doors in January 2005, in the Marais district of Paris (4th arrondissement); several "places of memory": the Tomb of the Unknown Jewish Martyr (in the crypt), the Wall of Names, the Children's Memorial, and the Wall of the Righteous; the Centre de documentation juive contemporaine (CDJC).
