Le Chambon-sur-Lignon place of remembrance

Dedicated to the history of the Righteous and the Civil Resistance during the Second World War, this museum explains the origins of the involvement of the people of the ‘Cévennes plateau’, the evolution of this ‘Civil Resistance’ with the arrival of the anti-Semitic laws and the progress of the war. Temporary exhibitions, conferences and meetings are also on offer.
