Stele Jean Georgelin Cosqueric

Memorial in tribute to resistant Jean Georgelin tortured and shot by German soldiers on June 16, 1944 in this field.
On the afternoon of June 15, Jean Georgelin accompanied by Corentin le Doeuff and Pierrot Cotten set off in the direction of Croix-Lanveur, coming across German vehicles, they fled but Pierrot Cotten and Jean Georgelin were caught, interrogated and tortured.
The latter was shot in the temple there, Bernard Kergoulay, farmer and accused by the Germans of being an accomplice of the resistants buried Jean Georgelin's body after noticing that his wrists had been broken.
