Port of Le Havre

Stele located on the port of Le Havre that recalls all the importance of the port during the war effort and the reconquest of Europe by the allies.
Text:
This stele was erected after the World War II as a reminder that Le Havre was the main port of disembarkationand then repatriation of the American liberation armies between September 1944 and August 1946.
3,675,000 Americans passed through the port.
