Passing remember!
From this shore on June 27, 1940, answering the call of General De Gaulle, six volunteers embarked on the fisherman's dory Léon-Paul LEGRAVEREND to row to Jersey.
Their names were:

Pierre LEMASSON
Maurice LETELLIER
Lucien MOUSSEAU
Jean RENOUX
Workers from Coutençais or students, they offered their youth so that France could regain its Honor and Liberty.
