Kergrenn massacre
On June 28, 1944, ten maquisards were surprised by a German patrol. Four Resistance fighters, including Jean Calvez, managed to escape under German fire.

These comrades, who managed to escape, took the unheard-of risk of returning to the burnt farmhouse in the evening to give their tortured and executed friends a decent burial.
