Jeannette Laz and Marie-Jeanne Noac'h

At liberation, the forces of the interior carried out a purge, sometimes wrongly.
This was the case for Jeannette Laz born in Guiscriff and Marie-Jeanne Noac'h born in Detroit in the USA, who were accused of having slept with the occupiers but also of denouncing parachute drops.
They were raped and then shot on August 10, 1944.
Now rehabilitated, a stele pays tribute to them on the very spot of the execution.
