François Porzier

Here was arrestedfollowing a denunciation, and by the gestapo on July 9, 1943 :
François Porzier, alias Galatée,  résistant member of the réseau Marathon, born August 22, 1894 in Morlaix, deported to Germany to the camp of Buchenwald then transferred  and died in the Flossenbürg  camp on January 29, 1945 at the age of 52. His wife, Albertine, was also deported to the Flossenbürg camp and was liberated on March 5, 1945.
Behind these walls was Mr and Madame Porzier's café, which served as a meeting place for the resistance.
