Attack on Kerbabu manor

On August 6, 1944 at 1:00 am, a group of Resistance fighters assaulted the camp of German soldiers, here in the woods of the manor house of Kerbabu and suffered heavy losses after the operation was denounced.
Ten resistance fighters would lose their lives in the process:

On August 9, 1944
Paul Appéré and Joseph Corre are executed by the occupier.
This commemorative stele was inaugurated in 1950.
