91st and 128th field hospitals

Plaque text: In the fields on either side of and beyond this entrance to Courtyard Farm, the 91st and 128th Field Hospitals established their medical facilities on June 11, 1944. These two First Army units landed on June 10 at Utah Beach and between June 11 and 22 operated from these fields, saving hundreds of American lives. This plaque honors the doctors and nurses of the 91st and 128th Field Hospitals who played their part during the Battle of Normandy.
