Bazenville Commonwealth War Cemetery

Bazenville Commonwealth Military Cemetery The British military cemetery at Ryes-Bazenville (Calvados), was established as early as June 8, 1944 near Gold Beach, where the 50th British Division had landed on June 6. It has 979 graves. Most of them are British (630), mainly soldiers of the 69th British Infantry Brigade. There are also 21 Canadian, 1 Australian, 1 Polish and 326 German graves.
